Of course, Mark Grayson and others InvincibleCoalition members they’re in the spotlight this season, with the Viltrumite army as their main opposition, but there have been a few friends and enemies on Earth that have undergone major development over the course of the series. However, among all these great personalities, Conquest may have made the biggest impression on fans.

Despite being a sinister villain with limited screen time compared to some of the show’s biggest names, Conquest continues to elevate the comic book adaptation with each episode, and the ratings prove it. impressive, Invincible has five different episodes rated 9.7 or higher on IMDb, and Conquest appears in every one.

Although he only had a very brief cameo in the season 1 finale and a brief but more powerful cameo in season 3 episode 7, he was a major part of the season 3 finale and season 4 episode 5, proving that Conquest is a cheat code to produce a high score Invincible episodes.

Now he’s made another appearance in the show’s latest outing, which currently has a 9.9 on IMDb at the time of writing. Therefore, even if the audience claims to hate him deep down or feel intimidated by this fearsome Viltrumite, his continued role in these acclaimed hits proves that he InvincibleMost of all, you have to see the character.

After his appearance in “Give Us a Moment,” it seemed that way Invincible can officially end with Conquest, as Mark has finally put an end to his archenemy. However, the Viltrumites somehow still found a way to appear in “Don’t Do Anything Rash”, proving that even after death, Conquest still represents a large part of the show’s best episodes.

There’s no denying that the battle outside Viltrum was the best aspect of the episode, as it’s a sight to behold as Thragg finally demonstrates his true power. Watching him mop the floor InvincibleHis strongest characters made for a stunning experience, especially after Mark, Nolan, Thaedus and Space Racer destroyed his planet.

The penultimate episode of Season 4 was filled with big moments, but the flashback to Viltrum’s past was also important, and Conquest was a pretty significant part of that. He was seen participating in the planetary destruction of the weak, and seemed willing to challenge Thragg for a moment before eventually giving up.

In the grand scheme of things, his cameo was brief and didn’t impact the episode nearly as much as Thragg, the surviving Viltrumites, and the Coalition. Still, even after Konquest’s death in Invincible season 4he continues to find a way to appear in his most memorable outings, which is quite an achievement.

It seems like everything Conquest touches turns to gold… and blood, but he set the bar high for the kind of quality fans expect from a villain, which Thragg immediately matched.

It’s unlikely we’ll see many more of his appearances now that his story is well and truly over, but Viltrumite has remained entrenched in the series’ success, and even his gruesome death hasn’t stopped him from making his presence felt.

Will the Invincible season 4 finale finally break the trend?

Now that Conquest is dead and buried while Viltrum’s backstory is covered, it’s hard to see him in the season 4 finale, but can this episode break Invinciblethe best trend? While the villain appears in every one of these top episodes, it’s not like the show hasn’t had other great episodes without him.

“Don’t Do Anything Rash” would have been almost as successful even if he hadn’t appeared, despite his cameo adding quality. Additionally, after Invincible the divisive fourth episode of season 4 became the lowest rated in the show’s history, the story has been flawless ever since, and the next three episodes all had 9 ratings on IMDb.

This kind of momentum, as well as the incredible twist in the previous episode, sets up an exciting finale, which looks set to continue its continued success. Getting a 9.7 or higher won’t be easy, but if “Don’t Leave Me Hanging Here” lives up to the hype, it could easily land somewhere in this field.

Invincible The season 4 finale premieres on April 22, 2026 at 12:00 PM PT/3:00 AM ET. Invincible has been renewed for a fifth season.

In this regard, matching the previous outing will be almost impossible, which could be against the ratings of the final. Likewise, there’s always the slightest chance that Conquest will appear in some sort of flashback or moment of trauma for Mark, meaning he could continue to sneak into what could be another Invincible a masterpiece.

Whatever happens, it’s hard to see a world where Season 4’s conclusion isn’t at least memorable, and whether it bucks this trend or tops it Invincible‘s best work, it will continue to be a big crescendo – one that fans won’t want to miss.
