Apple to showcase nearly 60 studies and demos at upcoming AI conference

Apple is one of the sponsors of this year’s International Conference on Learning Representations, taking place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from April 23 to 27, where dozens of studies will be presented. This is something to look forward to.

Apple has announced complete timetable It will be part of nearly 60 studies presented at this year’s International Conference on Learning Representations.

One of Apple’s technology demos will showcase the impressive SHARP model, 9to5Mac previously reportedwhich can reconstruct realistic 3D scenes from a single image in one second. Apple will run the demo on an iPad Pro equipped with an M5 chip.

Apple’s technology demonstration will be taking place during the show at the Apple booth (#204), which will also showcase “On-device LLM inference on MacBook Pro with M5 Max using MLX.”

MLX is Apple’s open source framework built specifically for AI inference on Apple silicon, and the technology demonstration will “run quantized cutting-edge coding models natively, entirely within Xcode’s native development environment.”
