We saved the best for last. Pay artists for their work by putting cash (or Venmo transactions) directly into their hands. Not only is it convenient for you to buy a record at the merch table when an artist performs in your town (there’s no shipping, and you’re usually not charged tax), but it’s one of the biggest sources of revenue for touring bands. You can often find special editions, special colors of vinyl, and even records that haven’t been released yet on the merch table.
