The studio released its first trailer at CinemaCon, introduced by a video message from Scott, who said that His adaptation “is tailor-made for the big screen. I want you to be in awe with every frame.”
According to the official synopsis, the film is “a riveting, epic thriller set in a world where survival is instinct but humanity is a choice. Scott tells the story of Seago, a young pilot who, along with military survivalist Bengley, carves out an efficient but isolated existence in a brutal post-apocalyptic world, until a mysterious radio transmission spurs Seago to venture into his world, still believing in the existence of human adventure.
Jacob Elordi plays Hig, Josh Brolin plays Bangley; Margaret Qualley plays a young doctor named Cima; Guy Pearce is a former Navy SEAL and Cima’s father.
