The accessories below aren’t as good as the top picks in this guide, but they’re still great options if you’re looking for more MagSafe gadgets.
Belkin iPhone stand with MagSafe included: Using Apple’s Continuity Camera feature, you can Use your iPhone as a webcam wirelessly For MacBook. It also supports a variety of video calling apps, from FaceTime to Zoom. This round silicone disc magnetically attaches to the back of your iPhone and can be used as a phone grip or stand, but you need to keep the screen at an angle close to 90 degrees, otherwise the weight of the iPhone will drag the screen backward or forward. There’s also a stand for an external monitor, in case you need one for a home desk setup.
STM Goods MagPod Smartphone Holder: I carry this mini tripod from STM Goods everywhere in my apartment. When I’m not using it to view notifications at a glance at my desk, I leave it on the kitchen counter to watch TV while cooking, on the coffee table to FaceTime friends on the couch, or on the bathroom sink to listen to podcasts while I put on my makeup. I also use it to shoot videos. It has a disk with slots that move smoothly, allowing you to position it at multiple angles. The retractable legs are sturdy even when clicking on notifications or typing text. They fold neatly into a compact size for easy portability.
Casetify Wireless Car Charger: I’ve been using this for over a year. It’s easy to install, has MagSafe support (with a USB-C cable) and an adjustable ball joint to accommodate a variety of viewing angles, and is Qi 2 certified with 15 watts of power. It’s a little cheaper than Belkin’s and comes in a variety of fun patterns. (I have penguin design, It’s hard not to smile while looking at it. )
MagGo Magnetic Charging Station (8-in-1): The little sphere has three AC outlets, two USB-C ports, and two USB-A ports on the back, and on the front Qi2 wireless charging A mat that can charge your phone. It’s perfect for workstations where you need to plug in a lot of gadgets. Each USB-A port outputs 12 watts, and the USB-C port can output 67 watts, but if you use other ports or pads, the output power will be reduced.

MagSafe SSD enclosure: if you have a iPhone Pro Max If you want to try Apple’s more advanced video recording format (ProRes 4K at 60 frames per second or higher), you’ll immediately run into a big problem: If you don’t have external storage device. You need to insert the SSD into your iPhone and it will record your videos directly to external storage. But a dangling SSD doesn’t sound very secure, right? They don’t pass power or data through MagSafe, but simply connect to the back as a convenient way to store an SSD while recording.
Kesley Grippi: I have successfully recorded a few different videos using this grippy phone holder. Its suction power is hit or miss. Sometimes it sticks to my painted walls for hours on end; other times it slides off my mirror or shower wall (with my phone in tow) within minutes. I find it works best if you just clean it and the surface it’s going to stick to. Apply some extra pressure while pressing it into your chosen mounting location, and maybe be ready to catch it if it falls.
