OpenAI’s former Sora boss is leaving

I’m very grateful to Sam, Mark, Aditya, and Jakub for creating a research environment that allowed us to explore unusual ideas on the company’s main road map. It’s tempting to model collapse as the most important thing in life, but cultivating entropy is the only way to long-term prosperity in a research lab, and Sam understands this deeply. Sora is a project that couldn’t have happened anywhere but OpenAI, a place I will always love.
